Privacy Policy

BuildAhead LLC ("BuildAhead", "we", "us") is a Florida limited liability company with its principal place of business at 4300 Biscayne Blvd. Suite 203, Miami, FL 33137, United States.

This policy explains what we collect when you use buildahead.ai and the BuildAhead application, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

Information you give us: your name, work email, company, optional role, and anything you write in a demo or evaluation request.

Project documents: specifications, drawings, contracts, addenda, and submittal packages that you or your organisation upload to the platform, together with the outputs BuildAhead derives from them.

Usage data: pages viewed, features used, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type. We use privacy-focused product analytics for this and do not sell it.

To provide the service: parsing your documents, generating registers and technical requirements, grading submittal packages, and maintaining the citation and audit trail those outputs depend on.

To respond to you: replying to demo and evaluation requests and providing support.

To improve the product: understanding which features are used and where the service falls short, and diagnosing failures.

BuildAhead does not train AI models on customer documents, and does not permit its sub-processors to do so. Your project documents are processed to produce your outputs and for no other purpose.

Documents are logically isolated per customer. Access is restricted to the people in your organisation you grant it to, and to BuildAhead personnel where necessary to operate or support the service.

We use third-party infrastructure and AI providers to deliver the service, including cloud hosting, document parsing, and large language model providers. These providers are engaged under terms that prohibit training on your content and that limit retention.

We retain project documents and derived outputs for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed to meet legal, audit, or dispute-resolution obligations. Evidentiary records are append-only by design; corrections are recorded as new entries rather than by erasing history.

Demo and evaluation enquiries are retained for as long as needed to follow up and to keep a record of the exchange.

Access is authenticated through enterprise identity providers with role-based permissions, and data is encrypted in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but security is a design constraint here rather than an afterthought — the same audit trail that makes outputs defensible also records who did what.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Contact hello@buildahead.ai and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Where your organisation controls the account, some requests are directed to them as the controller of that data.

BuildAhead operates from the United States and Australia and uses cloud infrastructure that may process data in multiple regions. Where required, transfers are made under appropriate safeguards.

We will update this policy as the product and our obligations change, and will revise the date above when we do. Material changes will be communicated to account holders.
